Deuteronomy 31:8, And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

God knows what you are going through at this very moment. I know at times it seems cliche we get caught in the motions, and we tend to not think that God has went before and solved our problems. Life would become a lot easier if we thought this way. He knows our futures, our hopes, and our dreams. In the book of Luke, the story of Zacchaeus, while being so short he could not see Jesus, who was in town that day. He climbed up the tree where Jesus was teaching to see him, and the story goes on. Long before Zacchaeus ever found the tree, it was planted to meet his need.

I can't count on one hand how many times I worry too much. I recently explained in another devotion how anxiety used to take over my mind. I didn't go into detail, but it got to the point where I couldn't sleep. I began to tell myself the battle is the Lords and it really helped me, I still do it to this day. We have to come to the conclusion: if we get sick, the battle is the Lords, if we have loss, the battle is the Lords, if it is our time to die, the battle is the Lords. Our life would be stress free. We need a little more faith in our spirit!

If we want a relationship with God we must first believe, HE IS, and that he goes before us. We have missed pivotal moments in our life because we were too busy bowing down to fear, and trading our promise for doubt. God will never leave us, no matter how far we think we've separated ourselves from him. Greater is he that is in us than who that is in the world. We tend to find it hard to believe in something we cannot see, but at the same time we find it easy to put our faith in other forces we cannot see such as; anxiety, depression, and so on.

You were designed and created for a special moment. Don't let your circumstance make you feel like you are too small to see or speak to God. Look around you to see what he has planted before you. We sing the song"You are Holy" one line in it says," the train of his robe it filled the temple and the angels gathered round him and they cried." Do we understand what that is saying? In the Bible days when a king lost a battle they would cut off a portion of his robe and sew it onto the victorious kings robe. So, the longer the robe the more battles he won, and the more authority he possessed. Our God that is beside us and the same God that goes before us has never lost a battle! We should put our faith in that and trust him.

God is always with you so don't forget to speak to him. If you want all of God you have to give all of you. Know whatever battle you are facing he has already seen the end and conquered it for you, just have faith, and remember "the battle is the Lords".
