Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The Lord Our God is powerful and those who believe on him shall have power. Take Samson; For example, he was very strong because the spirit of God came powerfully upon him. (Judges 14:6) Manoah, Samson’s mother, while approached by an angel, saying you’ll have a son and he shall be called “Samson”, and God blessed him and he had great power through God. Even though he was a powerful man physically, his real strength came from trusting, calling on God, and following his will. While he messed up and failed at times, he never forgot who to call on in his time of need. Sometimes we as people of God forget who we can truly call on. We call on our parents, siblings, counselors, or even the Internet, but have you called on the name of God? He is someone who will never leave you or forsake you. Samson was in a very hard situation. He faced rulers that wanted him dead, but God had other plans for him. We forget the enemy would love nothing more than to have us killed, but our power comes from the most high. No matter how big or how small our problem is, call on God, and dive into the word to find your strength. Never lose sight of your purpose and power. You have the power to overcome anything through God, the creator of the heavens and the earth. And that’s what Samson did. He faced So you may fall, may not understand life or your purpose, but take a step back and remember you have the power to overcome the biggest mountain, giant, or trial. Call on God he will direct your path and lead you to greatness. Don’t think you have to fix yourself before you can call on God.
