The Weight of a Purpose

We have a purpose that God has deigned for each of us, but we can’t have our way with it. We are being orchestrated by the hand of God and his will. The purpose we have can be immeasurable, or intimidating, but in Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to give you hope and a future.
What about when the purpose seems like it has brought weight with it, and it starts to weight you down? It can make you feel like you want to give up and throw in the towel. It sometimes feels like life was easier without it. It can get the best of us, your not alone. Endure the pain, endure the weight. We may go in life and say “why me God?” But we must understand that so much is required because much is given to us. God has blessed us so much, and we need to keep our attitude in life checked. We have a purpose and sometimes that purpose requires a lot from us.
We must never feel like God has made a mistake in choosing you or I. In Philippians 1:6 says, being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Be confident in the work you do. God will never let you go through a season without giving you the resources to complete it. He has done a perfect work in you, let the word help you do what is required.
When we feel powerless we must remind our self that we serve a God that raises the dead, that heals the sick, and opens the blinded eyes. The calling may be difficult but the reward is far greater. Don't give up on your ministry, or others around you. Keep sowing seed. Let Samson be an example. He was chosen of God to do a mighty work, for the kingdom. Yet he was distracted and let the call be stolen from him. He was included in the Bible to tell about God's great strength. Instead, it was pointed to his desires and pleasures. Don't let it be said about us. Let the weight of our purpose point back to the God who created it.
Always remember what is given is much required.
